As Director, Services and Support, Afshin Shams is responsible for managing PlateSpin’s support, services and systems engineering teams worldwide. His focus is on maintaining the highest level of support and services quality for PlateSpin’s global customer base. Afshin has over 15 years of industry experience and brings expertise in the management, design and deployment of multi-tier enterprise systems management infrastructure. Prior to joining PlateSpin, he held senior technical and management positions with a number of technology companies, most recently Unisys Canada. He was also a founder and managing partner of Toronto-based BIT Management Inc., which was successfully sold to GNTS, a division of Enterasys Networks. Afshin holds a B.Sc. (Data Management Specialist) degree from the University of Toronto.
